Description

Ketubba, faded, from Cairo, dated 25 March 1811 CE (29 Adar 5571 AM). Between Nissim and Esther, with a me'ukhar of 150 reyals (3000 piastres = 30 pounds). The scribe Yeḥezqel Ḥefeṣ's signature is barely visible in the center of the ketubba where he has signed on behalf of the groom. ASE. MCD.
