Description

Legal fragment on parchment in Hebrew. Late, but potentially pre-sixteenth century based on the paleography. Inheritance-related document following a woman's death. Mentions the inheritor Yaʿaqov Rodrīq (רודריק), probably the husband/widower of the deceased woman Esther (in l. 7), but many of the key details are missing. The surname Rodrīq (Rodrique?) might indicate Iberian or French background. Requires further examination. MCD.
