Description

Letter from Ḥassūn(?) b. Daniel (حسون(؟) بن دانيال) to a certain Abū l-Ṭayyib. On parchment. In Judaeo-Arabic with the address in Arabic script. The Judaeo-Arabic is written with a rudimentary hand and spellings. Headed by the unusual phrase בשם אל חי or בשם אלחי. Opens with expressions of condolence. Then "when I came out of the wilderness (לקד כרשת מן אלבאדיא)... and traveled on the road (תם משת פי אטריק)..." Needs further examination.
