Description

Letter/petition to a dignitary. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (fl. 1100–1138 CE). The addressee has 6 children. He is asked to help somebody else "either in the synagogue or in your noble home." Excerpts: וצלת אלקדרה אליה . . . לאגלה לתנטר אליה . . . . ותצלו(?) לה. . . . בה חאלה . . . . אמא פי בית הכנסת אל[מעמורה בבקאהא] ובבקא ישראל או פי מנזלהא אלכרים לא אכלא[נא] מן פעל אלחסדים אבדא וקד תשפע בנא אלי מכארמהא פמא אולאהא אן יכון להדה אלשפאעה אגאבה(?) גמילה . . . ושלום שש חמודיה השרים הנכבדים יגדל לעה נצח סלה ישע רב.
