Description

Letter from Yosef b. Mathāb(?) to Abū l-Faraj Ibn al-Rayyis al-Iskandarānī (=Eliyyahu the Judge). In Judaeo-Arabic, with the address partially in Arabic script. The orthography is irregular. Most of what remains on recto is formulaic. On verso there are a few lines in Arabic script at 90 degrees to the address, perhaps accounts. (Information in part from CUDL)
