Description

Recto: end of a letter and postscript, advising Yefet the cantor ("whom we have appointed") to come to the gate of the yeshiva, as nobody can recite qaddish until he does so. Verso: jottings in Hebrew and Arabic. (Information in part from CUDL.) The handwriting of the scribes and the identity of the authority (likely the head of the Jews from the period of the document) are likely identifiable.
