Description

Legal document. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (1100–38 CE). Involves al-ʿAkkawī (maybe [Ṭaho]r b. ʿA[diyya] from BL OR 8696.1?), who testifies that Avraham has died and that his orphan girl has the right to his inheritance. Avraham's cousin (ibn ʿamm) is also involved, maybe making his own claim to the inheritance. There follows some quoted dialogue. (Information in part from CUDL.) Join: Alan Elbaum.
