Description

Fragment from a collection of legal formularies in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (1100–38 CE). The document on recto concerns the manumission of a female slave, her marriage, and her 'checking' (in terms of proper behaviors for a Jewish woman). On verso there is a different formulary for a ketubba. (Information from Yagur's edition.)
