Description

Recto: Family letter in Arabic script. The addressee is called "my brother" (ياخي بحق الخبز(؟) الذي بيننا...., three lines from the bottom). The sender refers to the addressee's wife and mother. Yūsuf and Abū l-Faraj send their regards. Needs examination. Verso: Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Extremely faded. There are also a few lines of Arabic script, possibly the address of the letter on recto. The word or name al-Makārim appears. Needs further examination.
