Description

Legal document. In Hebrew. Dating: 5[4]30 AM (1669/1670 CE). Location: Miṣrayim (in context = Cairo). The middle signature is from Moshe Shomer and the left signature, Ṣefanya Zerḥīya. The latter signature is identical with that which appears on Yevr. II A 463/2 (PGPID 40982) from 1676 CE. Moshe Shomer's signature bears close similarities with BL OR 5542.1 (PGPID 6205) from 1677 CE. These two connections confirm the dating of 5[4]30 AM. The signature on the right side of the document is badly damaged but is likely Shelomo b. [...] ha-Kohen. MCD.
