Description

Top of a legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (1100–38 CE). Abū Zikrī Zekharya b. Sar Shalom makes a declaration to Shelomo/Sulaymān b. Moshe and his brother the silk merchant (al-ḥarīrī) Abū l-Khayr Ṣedaqa b. Moshe, something involving their mother. Here the document is torn but it was probably a release or an acknowledgement of debt.
