Fragment from the bottom of a legal document. Location: Alexandria or another coastal city. Dating: 11th century; it was written on a Monday, 18 Sivan; the number "807" appears on the line below, so perhaps Monday, 18 Sivan 4807 AM = 15 June 1047 CE. But the words surrounding "807" are not entirely clear. The document mentions [...] b. Yosef; an orphan girl; Avraham b. Farrāḥ al-Iskandarānī; and ʿAzīza. The substance of the case is unclear.
