Copies or formularies of letters, each starting with a new basmala. The letter starting at the bottom of verso is addressed to a dignitary called "[...] al-muwaffaqa al-manṣūriyya al-sayfiyya al-nāṣiriyya [...] amīr al-muʾminīn...." (conceivably a reference to the ʿAbbāsid al-Manṣūr, but probably a reference to someone later).
