Description

A 'literary' book of magic (possibly Sefer ha-Yashar or Sefer Adam); a recipe to procure rain, the name of the angels in charge of wild beasts, and recipes for protection against one's enemies. Goitein calls it "of a highly pagan character, written in archaic Hebrew (partly with interlinear translations into Arabic)." (Information from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
