Engagement deed, badly damaged. Dated in the lower right corner as (5)570AM ה)תק׳׳ע). Lavishly decorated with yellow and green floral designs in the margin. Groom: Shelomo Sonino b. Avraham. Bride: Raḥel bt. Avraham Safriel(?). Dating: 16th–19th century. Currencies: medin; real. The groom and his father are listed as residents of Cairo (תושבי מצרים), which may provide a clue that this document may have been drawn up elsewhere (otherwise we would expect תושבי פה מצרים). MCD.
