Description

Business letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: likely ca. 13th century. Headed "response" (al-jawāb). Reporting that 12 nuqra dirhams were sent with with R. Ḥisday and 35 with the bearer of this letter along with 85 'white' dirhams and a number of pounds of flax. The addressee is told to deliver the letter to Aḥmad together with the flax, 30 white (dirhams), and 7 nuqra dirhams.
