Description

Official-looking Arabic document, or possibly legal. Recto mentions Abū Muḥammad [...] b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Shāhid(?). Verso mentions a sum beginning with 400 and ending with 1/2, then a date: the end of Rabīʿ II 523 AH = April 1129 CE. Underneath there appear to be the remnants of two lines in Coptic (or less likely Greek). Letters such as sigma, psi, and omega are visible.
