Description

Large fragment containing numerous types of jottings. One section contains a list of names in Hebrew script, which seems to be headed "Qaraites" (קראיין). Underneath there is a reference to the tractate of ʿEduyot with the commentary of "the great eagle" (ha-nesher ha-gadol) Moses Maimonides. Underneath this there is a halakhic discussion. The fragment also contains writing practice for the Arabic alphabet and western Arabic numerals. Verso contains more accounts in the margins. The main text on verso is a digest of Maimonides's principles for Seder Ṭaharot. Other jottings include the names Moshe Qolon and Shemuʾel ʿAmmānī.
