Description

Accounting (taṣqīʿ) for the Qodesh in the hand of Shemuʾel b. Saʿadya ha-Levi. Dated: Sivan and Tammuz 1494 Seleucid = May–July 1183 CE. There are several related documents published by Gil for the same or adjacent time periods, e.g., T-S J2.63 (PGPID 1321) and T-S K3.11 (PGPID 1350). This fragment appears to have been overlooked and is not cited in the literature. The lower section of recto listing parshiyot accompanied by numbers is in the hand of Shemuʾel's son Yosef.
