Description

Communal accounts for two synagogues in Cairo. Dated 5584 AM (1823/24 CE). The right side of the bifolio mentions the Ḥayyīm Capoussi Synagogue and the left side mentions the Yishmaʿel Synagogue. The latter entries list communal funds for the high holidays. MCD.
