Description

List of payments and/or goods, with common format in which each entry opens with "עוד" in Hebrew. Dating appears to be late medieval, 14th-16th centuries. One of the goods mentioned is a "sandūq" (box, case). The Ladino word "panyos" or "panos" (cloth) appears in line 4 of the recto but it is unclear if the scribe intended the spelling "פאניוס" or "פאנוס" (the latter etymology is Portuguese the former Castellano). In either scenario the meaning of the word is the same. MCD.
