Description

Fragment of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic, maybe mercantile. Mentions Sar ha-Sarim; a burniyya (a kind of vessel); 'our master' (adonenu); a paste (maʿjūn); Ibrāhīm al-[...]; and a small amount of ambergris (ʿanbar). Resembles the handwriting of Hillel b. ʿEli in the letters he wrote for Yosef Lebdi (see India Book I), but does not appear to be a direct join with any of them.
