Description

Letter in Arabic, possibly from 'your father Futūḥ' (this appears at upper left a few lines down from the top) to an unidentified addressee, it seems asking him to obtain a specific prescription for one dinar and to bring it (وتسل لي هذه النسخة بدينار . . اياها وتاتي فيها على موادي(؟) حسب املي منك حرسك الله وهي . . .). The prescription is then given. There is at least one interspersed instruction about where to source the ingredients (واخذ نصفه انت من عندك حسب ما امرصاحبها). Two lines from the bottom, the prescription ends and the letter resumes: وتحمل عن قلبي لا عدمتك ولا خلوت منك . . . . The letter was extensively reused for writing exercises in Hebrew and some Arabic. Needs further examination.
