Family letter probably addressed to a woman ("... wa-lā tajlisī..."). The sender apparently wouldn't have traveled if (s)he had known something (...fa-mā kuntu sāfartu wa-lā kharajtu aṣlan...). Mentions combs (amshāṭ). On verso, refers to plans to travel again (...an akhruja...). Asks after the children (khabar al-ṣighār). Mentions sending various things, and 8 dirhams.
