Description

Letter from a woman to her son Abū ʿAlī Ḥusayn b. Salāma al-Ghurābī(?). In Arabic script. Well preserved and beautifully written. She writes that she has heard about his betrothal (imlāk) to a young woman, and then mentions ʿĪd al-Aḍḥā. She is sick and ailing and urges him to come back lest "the same thing happened as with your father, I won't see you and you won't see me." Needs examination.
