Recto: (1) Recipe in Arabic script in a Spanish hand, beginning with the basmala four times. The recipe uses marrubium juice, ginger-water, honey and cinnamon-water. (2) Note in Arabic script in a Spanish hand referring to the completion of something on a certain Friday and "let it be hung in the house of the Raʾīs Abū l-Saʿd" (probably Ḥalfon b. Netanʾel ha-Levi, cf. T-S 8.81 and T-S Ar.7.11). (3) Verses of poetry in Hebrew in a Spanish hand. Verso: Business accounts mainly in Arabic script and Greek/Coptic numerals, with some Judaeo-Arabic mixed in. (Information in part from CUDL.) Needs further examination.The handwriting might be a match for one or more of the scribes in India Book IV—to be investigated.
