Description

Three lines from a letter to a high official with titles such as "sharaf al-umma" and "Kawkab a-Dawla." A state official by the title Kawkab al-Dawla was active around 465 H during al-Mustanṣir's time (See al-Maqrīzī', Ittiʿāẓ III, 310). Reused for jottings in Hebrew, Judaeo-Arabic, and Arabic script.
