Description

Fragment of a letter/petition in Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew. The letters are 3mm high, the space between the lines is 3.5cm, and the lines are upslanting (Goitein: "I have hardly seen anything like this"). Refers to the addressee's benefaction and to something which occurred to 'the nation' (al-umma).
