Description

Legal fragment in the hand of Mevorakh b. Natan (ca. 1150–81 CE). In which Abū l-[...] appears before the court -- possibly in the Palestinian synagogue -- and acknowledges receipt of maintenance (mezonot) payments from Manṣūr for a period of four months [beginning in Iyyar] and ending in Av 14[..] Seleucid. Mentions "the order of our master [...]." A portion of Mevorakh's own signature is preserved, along with that of Yaʿaqov [b. Yosef] ha-Kohen.
