Fatimid-era petition. From Muʿammar [...] al-Tūnisī, in trouble on account of the capitation tax. He says he does not have enough money to buy food and that he wishes to return home to his frail mother. Opens with "uʿlimu/uʿallimu," perhaps an indication that the addressee is of a status below vizer or that the petition is from the early Fatimid period.
