Description

Birth record. In Arabic script. "The birth of my son Abū l-Fakhr was Wednesday, the fourth hour of the night. . . the fifth hour. . . the 19th of Rabīʿ II 566 [=30 December 1170 CE]." The date is also given according to the Coptic calendar (the month of Ṭūba). Cf. T-S Ar.54.74 (PGPID 8332).
