Description

Two fragments in Judaeo-Arabic, both mercantile, either accidentally stuck together or intentionally folded together. Both hands look familiar from the 12th-century India Books documents. The smaller piece is probably a letter, referring to 70 dinars, someone known as Ibn Kaḥla/Kuḥla (בן כחלה), Zikrī, a ghulām, and the Muslim courts. the larger piece is probably also a letter, in the hand of Abū Zikrī Kohen? Refers to Yosef b. Avraham. On verso there is an informal note int he same hand addressed to Fuhayd.
