Description

State document, in Arabic script. Mentions an iqṭāʿ and kharāj. Dating: most likely Ayyubid due to the mention of "ṭawāshī", most probably meaning a military faction in the Ayyubid times, disintegrated by the Mamlūks, as per al-Qalqashandī. The scribe wrote with a nicked nib (which may facilitate finding a join). Needs examination for content. There is a Hebrew dirge on the verso.
