Description

Legal document mentioning the seat of the Bet Din. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe ha-Levi (fl. 1100-1138 CE). Fragmentary but some of the details can be deduced. Appears to refer to a woman who was forced to have recourse to the court; there is a man named Shemuel(?) ha-Zaqen. There is reference to what she deserves in relation to (him?). There is also reference to a payment or gift (incumbent on him as support?). (Information in part from CUDL)
