Description

A legal query to Maimonides written by Yosef b. Shemuel b. Saʿadya and an autograph reply by Maimonides. Published in Maimonides Responsa (Blau) no. 273. The query is dealing with a circumciser who use to perform circumcision in the villages. He had a quarrel with another person, a physician, who use to perform circumcision in order to damage the income of the circumciser. Maimonides held that the physician was acting wrongly. AA
