Description / Bio

Manumitted man who is mentioned as the groom in a ketubba from 1111 CE, the bride's name is lost to damage. Salāma's ketubba was issued in Fusṭāt. (Information from PGP and Craig Perry, Slavery and the Jews of Medieval Egypt, Appendix 2, no. 32)
