Description / Bio

Indian Ocean trader known to Yosef b. Avraham who went on at least one occasion to the Malabar coast; Yosef enclosed a letter for him when sending a letter to Ibn Yijū and asked Ibn Yijū to forward the letter to Abū l-Surūr. His name probably indicates family involvement in the trade of Ṭalḥī paper.
