Goitein (Med Soc., 2:25, 525, n. 11, and the edition below) reads lbn al-Naʿnāʿ, and the hand in this document is indeed ambiguous; Gil initially followed this reading (Italia Judaica, I, 96), but later corrected it, and it's correct in his edition.
