Nissim b. Yūsuf al-Yahūdī al-Lāwī known as al-Shāṭir, a property (makān) located in Cairo, Ḥārat Zuwayla, Ḥārat al-Yahūd, at the top of Darb al-Rāʾiḍī(?) […] The price agreed upon for the sale is 6000 medins, it seems paid in cash on the spot. It seems that it was paid in an equivalent (bi-muʿāwaḍa) of 49 dinars and 20 riyāls(?), and the remainder paid in medins. Six witnesses sign at the bottom. At the top there is the judge's tawqīʿ and seal.

[…] ʿAbd al-Jawwād addresses the court, explaining that the judge ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz Fayrūz had prohibited him because the community suspected his late father Farajallāh of improper sexual relations with an Ethiopian woman (al-ḥabashiyya) in Egypt.

The ten pieces of advice given by a mother to her daughter is a Judeo Arabic reworking of an Arabic literary anecdote usually told about the advice Umm al-Ḥārith gave to her daughter when the latter was about to be married to al-Ḥārith al-Mālik, the king of Kinda.
