الوصف

Court record, signed (and written?) by Eliyyahu the Judge. Fragmentary (right half). Dated: [Tammuz] 153[8] Seleucid = 1227 CE. The dating is deduced from the related documents; however, could also be 1530 Seleucid = 1218/19 CE, see T-S 13J18.22 (PGPID 8006). People mentioned: [...] b. Abū l-Faḍl, 'my mother' ʿIbād, her sister Ḥasab, Ibn al-Nāʾila, someone's deceased father Manṣūr, Sulaymān and someone else who are the sons of the maternal aunt of Manṣūr, Abū l-Faḍl Ibn al-Rabbāṭ(?), Abū l-Maḥāsin al-Naqlī. On verso there are additional jottings in Hebrew, some biblical verses or themes, including a reference to Miryam and to Batya the daughter of Pharaoh. (Information mainly from Goitein's attached notes and Motzkin's attached transcription.) All the potentially related documents: ENA NS 21.18 (PGPID 2695), T-S 13J18.22 (PGPID 8006), T-S 8J6.6 + T-S 10J4.4 (PGPID 7642), T-S AS 146.52 (PGPID 16360), T-S AS 171.86 (PGPID 38472), and CUL Or.1080 J116 (PGPID 8889).
