Legal document in the hand of Natan b. Shemuʾel. Location: Fustat. Dated: last third of Av, year missing, under the authority of the Nagid Shemuʾel b. Ḥananya. Mutual quittance granted by Abū Zikrī Kohen (Yehuda b. Yehosef) to Abū Isḥāq Avraham b. Yaʿaqov known as Ibn al-A[...]ān and vice versa, for all partnerships and transactions and other liabilities between them, except for a debt of 45 + 1/3 + 1/4 dinars owed by Avraham to Abū Zikrī, which was documented in another legal document drawn up on the same date. The quittance formulae near the end specifically mention a contract between one of parties and Abū l-Munā b. Saʿīd, and another involving (Abū) Saʿīd Ibn al-Dhahabī. A filing note on verso states that Abū Zikrī Kohen received the entirety of what he was owed by Avraham, namely 45 + 1/3 + 1/4 dinars Signed by Natan b. Shemuʾel and Efrayim b. Meshullam (dated documents: 1142–59).
