Recto and upper part of verso: Formulary for an elaborate letter of appeal for charity from a dignitary. Lower part of verso: Copy of a letter in which the sender reports that the addressee's letter arrived with his relative Ḥalfon. He says that "I lifted it to my eyes and [placed] it on my forehead like tefillin (כטוטפת)." There is a mention of blame and reproof (...ʿatb mā wa-tawbīkh...). The sender blames something on a youth/servant (al-ghulām).
