الوصف

Letter containing a legal opinion/responsum in the hand of Avraham b. Natan Av ha-Yeshiva. Dating: ca. 1100 CE. Against a claim of orphans against the partner of their father. Refers to a claim of ʿEli b. Shelomo that his father and uncle were "elders of Israel" (min shuyūkh Yisraʾel) and speaks of them as "this boy and his brother." There are instructions to the local judge. (Information from Goitein's index card.)
