Marriage contract in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. Dated: Thursday, 11 Marḥeshvan, 142[.]. The original estimate for this shelfmark inferred 142[8] Seleucid, probably based on 11 Marḥeshvan falling on a Thursday in that year, however, it should be noted that in the same decade (1420-29 Sel.) 11 Marḥeshvan also fell on a Thursday in 1109 CE (1421 Sel.), 1110 CE (1422 Sel.), and 1113 CE (1425 Sel.). The marriage gift consists of 16 dinars. The bride is a divorcee on whose earning the husband will have no right, but who will provide her clothing by herself. Verso is blank.
