الوصف

Verso: Jottings in Judaeo-Arabic about people fighting and/or playing. "Abū l-Munā and Barakāt were quarreling. . . Abū l-Faraj the dyer of red was playing and fighting. . . Abū l-ʿAlāʾ was playing. . . Abū l-Faraj and his brother Ibn al-Ṣabbāgh were playing, and I said to them, "I'm going to go write your names(?)." They said, "By God, we don't care [. . . .]." The name Abū l-Munā also appears in Arabic at the top. The verb qaʿada appears in each of these entries as an auxiliary verb (rather than literal "sitting"). Recto has a catena of biblical verses (information in part from CUDL.)
