Informal note addressed to a mother. In Hebrew. Dating: ca. 15th–17th century. The sender says that a certain gentile is harassing him for money but 'the sage' (ha-ḥakham) didn't want to give the gentile any more than three ducats (peraḥim), and he doesn't know what to do. On verso there is a doodle of a stick figure.
