Bifolio from Sefer Yeṣira. At the bottom of the left page of recto, there are two notes in Ladino. The first is an ownership note for Efrayim Crespin: איסטי לברו איס די [ה]נבון ומעולא כמה׳׳ר אפרים קירשפין יחיה לעד אכי׳׳ר. The surname Crespin is spelled oddly (קירשפין) but it is difficult to see how any other surname was intended. The second note mentions the arrival of someone (a gabbay) from Livorno on the 18th, but the placename is spelled in a manner resembling the archaic title in English (Legorna=Leghorn?). The note then proceeds to explain that the person arrived with a shipment of firewood (leña or lenya). Based on the honorifics, it seems possible that the surname of the gabbay included סורייה (Sūriyya)– perhaps the "De Sūriyya" or "Sūriyya" (both surnames are attested in the geniza: T-S K15.104 - PGPID 23209 // BL OR 6356.1–16 PGPID 40934). There is then a stylized signature by a certain Yosef Ṣion: הצעיר יוסף ציון נר׳׳ו ס׳׳ט. ASE/MCD
