Fragment of a book of cosmetics written on parchment. It deals with the hair (the fall of the hair, curled hair, half-curled hair, and straight hair). Headings are written in a larger script, and the copyist used red ink for chapter headings. The following chapter headings are preserved: الباب الخامس في انتثار الشعر وساقطه الباب السادس في العلاج النافع من تناثر الشعر وساقطه الباب السابع ما العلة التي... منها الشعر جعدا او رجلا او سبقا الباب الثامن ما العلة في اختلاف الشعر في الدقة والغلظ الباب التاسع في التدبير الذي يجعد الشعر ويحسنه According to Kahle, the copyist used an "archaic script," while Savage-Smith describes it as an Andalusian hand from the 14th century.
