Letter fragment in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: likely 12th century. Small but rich with tantalizing details. The handwriting is reminiscent of some of the India Book letters. Mentions a ḍāmin; monetary claims; a payment of 12 dinars; Ḥassūn; “wretched poor people”; a Christian man in the market; someone who got a good beating, and someone who slapped the Jewish man; and someone (maybe the Jewish man who was slapped) who complains about being oppressed.
