Letter fragment in Arabic script. There is a name preserved (Abū something), possibly in reference to a debt owed, but not much else is preserved. There are deferential phrases asking for benefaction from the addressee. Excerpts: ولا ينكر مولاي الشيخ كبت الله عداه . . . . فهو الذي تغير(؟) لان العبد معه محلو[. . . .] ابو ال . . . . في ذمي وقبلي وانه ىهدا . . . ومع ذلك فقد عرف عبد مولاي الشيخ . . . . وهو يسل جليل حضرته الانعام عليه . . . الى . . . . فقد والله العظيم . . . . وصلواته على عباده(؟) حسبي الله وعليه توكلت. Reused on recto for Hebrew piyyuṭ.
